BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Must be a Christian and a member of a church that holds to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing in the New and Old Testaments of the Holy Bible. Click here to read GENERAL OBJECTIVES: The Graphic Designer, Creative Media for the Athletic Department will provide unique and innovative visual content for DBU Athletics and each individual sports team. A majority of design work is for DBU Athletics' social media accounts. QUALIFICATIONS: • Devoted to Christ • Detail-oriented • Efficient time management skills • Ability to meet deadlines • Excellent in both online and print design • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (mainly Photoshop) • Innate understanding of the online social space • Equal passion for graphic design and professional development • Bachelors degree in Design-related major OR strong portfolio SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop/the Adobe Creative Suite • Contributions during live sporting events (nights and weekends are common) • Assists in design project management using the Microsoft Suite, including Planner • Assists with creation of Photoshop templates • Ideates and executes design trends to highlight DBU Athletics sports teams WORK SCHEDULE: A minimum of 25 hours per week or more is necessary to meet the requirements of the program.
