The Network Director of Content impacts students’ lives by: Developing and delivering content-based network-wide professional development to school staff during summer professional development. Developing and delivering weekly content-based, school-based professional development. Observing content-specific teachers on each campus and giving feedback on curriculum implementation. Collaborating with school-based DCIs to support the implementation of high-quality curriculum on each campus. Ensuring that curriculum implementation is aligned to interim assessments. Working collaboratively to ensure interim assessments are high-quality and support the implementation of the school-wide interim cycles three times a year. Conducting as-needed support in schools that may include coaching individual teachers, real-time teacher coaching, and/or doing short-term projects as identified by individual principals and approved by the Chief of Academics. Meeting weekly with the Chief Academic Officer to review PD plans and receive and implement feedback on work. Meeting regularly with the entire Schools Team to evaluate progress toward goals. Participating in the life of the CMO, including weekly CMO team Zoom meetings, monthly CMO in-person meetings, and network-wide events. Have an outstanding record of working with students in non-selective schools. Have a BA or BS degree, Master’s degree preferred. Possess Louisiana Teacher Certification (or equivalent in another state), Mentor Teacher certification preferred. Have demonstrated success in coaching teachers, designing curriculum, and leading student achievement. Experience with Wit and Wisdom is preferred. Physical Requirements: Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, operate a computer and other office equipment, reach with hands and arms, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. This is an in-person role.
