Currently, we have a Principal or Senior Environment Artist with a reputable video game studio. This studio is one of the most successful and noteworthy independent studios in the industry. The Principal or Senior Environment Artist is responsible for the below specific duties. Your specific duties will include: Creating high-level environments that ensure optimal performance and align with gameplay objectives. Collaborating with art, design, and production teams to ensure that environment art aligns with overall development goals. Mentoring intermediate and junior team members. Specific qualifications for the position include : Experience in modeling, asset creation, materials, textures, set dressing, lighting, team leadership, and art fundamentals. Proficiency in Substance, Photoshop, and Unreal/Blueprints. Proficiency in Blender is a plus. Pay Rate Range : $100,000-$130,000 for Senior; $130,000-$162,000 for Principal. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
