Job Description
- A Content Asset Manager supports the creative development process by managing brand, campaign, and partner assets.
- These experts of asset/media management source assets, production media, completed projects, etc., ensure thorough, complete, and correct handoffs, organize and store assets within a centralized system (DAM/server), and share with all marketing channels.
- You believe in a rock-solid process, rigor, and cutting-edge tools/technology to make creative workflows more streamlined, time- and cost-efficient; you operate according to, evangelize, and constantly improve this CAM way of working.
- You must balance logic and analysis with creativity and intuition.
- While CAM is not responsible for creating content, we are a critical partner for creative teams.
- You will actively and sometimes proactively support teams through all phases of creative development, from kickoff to project wrap.
- Because creative deliverables are deadline-driven, CAM must ensure assets are available when needed and all processes and checkpoints are addressed per the workback schedule.
- You will build relationships across the enterprise and with external agencies and partners supporting marketing objectives and productions.
- This role involves engaging with diverse teams focusing on different creative outputs, from television commercials to internal communications.
- Manage assets, production media, and/or completed media leveraging a centralized system (DAM/server).
- Provide asset support to creative projects and campaigns from kickoff to wrap-up.
- Leverage tools and technologies to improve efficiency and introduce industry-trending solutions.
- Handle communications, coordination, and end-user support.
- Perform additional duties/projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Digital Asset Management (DAM), Information Sciences, Marketing, Business Administration, Film/Video Production, or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience managing large asset sets across tools linked to a DAM in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience developing and implementing asset/media management processes and policies.
- Involvement in creative development, production operations, or client services.
- Awareness of asset-related milestones.
- Agency experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Business Affairs principles—licensing, clearances, rights—impacting production and creative development.
- Knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Assets, Asset Share Commons, and/or Acquia/Widen is beneficial.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite for assessing asset quality.
- Strong attention to order, process, and detail.
- Ability to identify process efficiencies and streamline management.
- Solutions-oriented mindset with creativity and proactivity.
- Team player willing to support colleagues and contribute to team success.
- Critical thinking and investigative skills to understand requests and find solutions independently.
