Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with engineers, TPMs, and managers to understand project requirements and concepts thoroughly. Coordinate with the Technical Program Manager (TPM) and Leadership to ensure the consistency of documentation standards, styles, and priorities. Strategize and deliver documentation guides in accordance with project timelines. Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills, adept at crafting compelling technical content, and exhibit strong time management abilities. Develop digital documentation while adhering to established style and platform standards. Partner with manufacturing technicians and engineers to gain a comprehensive understanding of process intricacies and fulfill manufacturing objectives effectively. Solicit and integrate customer feedback on documentation to optimize usability.
Requirements:
2-5 years of experience as a technical writer specializing in manufacturing procedures. Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in writing and editing. Proficiency in MS Office/Google Suite (Word, Excel) and Adobe (Photoshop, Acrobat). Ability to capture and enhance digital photographs. Competence in creating work instruction elements in Word. Strong written and oral communication skills with meticulous attention to detail. Capability to manage workload efficiently amidst changing priorities while meeting project deadlines. Experience in the automotive, EV industry, and/or high-tech sectors. Familiarity with Dozuki, Google Suite, Slack, CATIA, JIRA, Confluence, Document Management tools, PLM. Technical acumen in electrical, mechanical, automotive, and/or sensor hardware.
