Role Overview:

As the Creative Lead (Growth), you will lead the creative direction for our fantasy comics content. Your expertise in animation and comics will be essential in developing compelling narratives, designing engaging characters, and driving innovative storytelling. You’ll lead a talented team and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align creative work with business growth goals.

This is a senior leadership role where your strategic vision and creative excellence will play a pivotal role in elevating our content and driving growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creative Vision & Strategy: Lead the creation of captivating fantasy narratives, ensuring high-quality, innovative, and engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences.
• Storytelling Excellence: Craft compelling characters, dialogue, and plotlines that communicate emotions, drive action, and immerse audiences in fantasy worlds.
• Team Leadership: Inspire and guide a team of writers, artists, and designers to execute on the creative vision, ensuring quality standards are met while fostering an environment of creativity and collaboration.
• Growth Focus: Collaborate with marketing, product, and growth teams to tailor content that aligns with audience interests, boosts user engagement, and supports business objectives.
• Innovation & Trends: Stay ahead of industry trends in animation, comics, and digital media to ensure Pocket Toons remains at the forefront of content creation.
• Quality Control: Oversee the production process from concept to final output, ensuring consistency and excellence in every piece of content we create.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in creative leadership, storytelling, and content creation, specifically within the comics production space, with a strong focus on fantasy genres, animation, or comics.
• A robust portfolio that demonstrates your ability to craft compelling narratives, develop dynamic characters, and drive the creative direction of comics and animation projects.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a deep passion for collaborating with cross-functional teams, including artists, writers, and designers.
• A solid understanding of the digital comics landscape, content production workflows, and how creative strategies fuel audience engagement and business growth.
• A growth mindset, always seeking innovative ways to connect with audiences and elevate Pocket Toons' fantasy comics content to new heights.
• Proven ability to guide and mentor a creative team, fostering a culture of innovation, quality, and continuous improvement in comics production.
