About the opportunity:
- Outlier is seeking talented English writers to help train generative AI models by providing human feedback.
- This freelance opportunity is remote and offers flexible hours, allowing you to work at your convenience.
- Your tasks will include reading English texts to rank AI responses, writing and rewriting prompts and responses (which may involve research and fact-checking), and assessing the factuality and relevance of AI-generated text.
Desired expertise:
- Professional writing or editing experience
- Enrollment in or completion of a bachelor's degree or higher in a writing-related discipline
- Strong writing style, excellent English spelling and grammar, along with good logic and reasoning skills
- Attention to detail and ability to clearly explain strengths and weaknesses of texts
Payment details:
- US: $15 to $35 USD per hour
- UK: up to £11 to £27 GBP per hour
- Canada: up to $20 to $48 CAD per hour
- Australia: up to $22 to $53 AUD per hour
- New Zealand: up to $25 to $58 NZD per hour
- Rates vary based on expertise, skills, location, and project needs. Higher rates may be offered to PhDs. For initial onboarding or overtime, lower rates may apply. Incentive payments may also be available. Please review specific project payment terms.
