Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated MES PAS-X Designer for the pharmaceutical industry. This role requires a proactive individual with strong execution experience who can work independently and is willing to travel to various sites in Puerto Rico, USA, and Canada. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), PAS-X software, Electronic Batch Records, SAP, and/or Maximo.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and optimize PAS-X solutions tailored to client needs.
- Develop workflows, master batch records, and system specifications.
- Ensure seamless integration of PAS-X with other systems such as ERP, SCADA, and/or LIMS.
- Support the System Owner for PAS-X implementations ensuring operational excellence and compliance.
- Monitor system performance, resolve issues, and implement enhancements.
- Oversee user management, role-based permissions, and data security within PAS-X.
- Lead PAS-X implementation and upgrade projects, ensuring adherence to scope, timeline, and budget.
- Provide end-user training on PAS-X functionalities and workflows.
- Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting to ensure smooth system operation.
- Drive adoption of system best practices across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with PAS-X MES platform.
- Proven track record of designing and managing MES solutions in GMP-regulated environments.
- Experience integrating PAS-X with ERP, SCADA, and LIMS systems.
- Proficient in PAS-X configuration, including master batch record development and system workflows.
- Strong understanding of GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Exceptional communication and project management abilities. Languages: Spanish and English
Skills:
- Strong execution experience and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel to various sites in Puerto Rico, USA, and Canada.
- Experience with Electronic Batch Records, SAP, and Maximo.
Work Methodology:
- Project duration: 6-12 months
- Full time project
- Remote work allowed
- Professional services contract
- Administrative shift (M-F 8am-5pm), willing to work non-standard hours when needed
- Travel expenses covered by reimbursement
