Job Description 21785 Social Media Coordinator Bishop & Company is seeking a Social Media Coordinator for a museum in Honolulu. The Social Media Coordinator will develop and coordinate content for various social media platforms, that aligns with the museum’s voice and goals with the aim of engaging and growing audiences. Responsibilities: Create engaging, trend-aware, and high-quality content, including graphics, videos and written captions for posts, that resonates with and enhances the targeted audiences. Coordinate content calendars under the direction of the Associate Curator of UX and consulting agencies, ensuring timely and relevant posts across all platforms. Proficiency in both cellphone and camera (photo, video and audio) equipment content capture. Proficiency in photo and video editing software including Adobe Creative Suite and Canva. Ability to film, edit, and produce quality final content products in a timely manner, at times within 24 hours of capturing content. Demonstrated experience in Creative Media, with a proven track record of coordinating and executing successful social and digital media content. Understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices. Excellent writing, editing and communication skills, including attention to detail. Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms and social media data reporting. Ability to craft engaging narratives and content that align with organizational goals. Ability to keep matters confidential. Additional Information: Job Type: Temporary opportunity -approximately 4-6 months Pay: $20hr Schedule: Full time M-F, with additional opportunities for weekend work.
