Description
Under the supervision of the Senior Marketing Manager, the Advertising Manager will act as the liaison between Quechan Casinos and all agencies involved in the production of advertising material including, but not limited to, the ad agency, media buyers, sponsors, print house and web developers, in accordance with brand standards.
- Manages the channel of communication and related elements as it relates to external advertising, to include, but not limited to, broadcast, print, out of home, video content, web site photography and collateral.
- Manages the creative function so the environment, culture, team, capabilities, tools, process, expectations, work style and other elements support the strategic goals and brand, in accordance to Executive Management
- Manages and maintains media and production budgets for all advertising activity.
- Manages the processes for all print, broadcast and out of home media plans.
- Manages the processes for media buying and placement facilitated by media buying agency. Assists with the quantification of our media efforts.
- Manages the broadcast and print flow chart, capitalizing on flight extension and/or retraction to correspond to strategic initiatives as directed by Executive Management.
- Maintains and updates the message matrix to manage the flow of messages.
- Maintains the timely processing of all communication request forms, assigned job numbers, and proper logging and trafficking of jobs.
- Manages multiple projects with shifting priorities.
- Interfaces with all departments to ensure timely development of creative materials for all campaigns and property promotions.
- Inspect layouts and advertising copy and edit scripts, audio and video tapes, and other promotional material for adherence to specifications.
- Assists in the development of targeted, integrated media plans, maintains media schedules, and manages media expense forecast.
- Assists in the development of the advertising budget and ensure maximum utilization of expenses.
- Assists with the design, implementation, maintenance and expansion of the annual mass media and communications plan.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, communications or directly related field, preferred or an
equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the job. A minimum of three years' directly related experience to a variety of advertising functions of a casino environment to included brand development, communications, media production required. Experienced in special events or promotions preferred. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, random drug and controlled substance abuse tests, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license in Arizona and California. Tribal preference given to qualified Tribal members.
