VP, Group Media Director
in our
Overland Park, KS
office. The VP, Group Media Director is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the planning, execution and innovation of paid media strategies for a portfolio of travel clients. This role is ideal for a strategic leader who can drive growth, innovation and team development while maintaining a high standard of execution in paid media.

Oversee an integrated media planning portfolio
A strategic and visionary leader who thrives in complexity and fosters a culture of innovation
Expertise in the full media planning cycle as well as all functional responsibilities across all roles and channels for an agency
Demonstrated track record of success leading large-scale media accounts
Focus on developing custom media solutions and innovative new media opportunities to drive the work forward
Participate in client leadership groups across key clients with other channel leads and focus on alignment of media and creative messaging
Team Leadership
Proactively deliver client solutions and manage a team to build strategic-thinking talent
Maintain advanced knowledge of trends and industry best practices to ensure media teams are operating and innovating at the highest possible standard
Liaise with channel heads as necessary to ensure collaboration and continuity among work teams
Participate as part of the media division's senior leadership team
Mentor team members and oversee the portfolio’s workload
Oversee media planning, buying and optimization to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, meeting brand and performance media goals
Ability to think critically and leverage data for insights and storytelling
Work closely with data and analytics teams on measurement strategies and testing opportunities
Participate in media-related new business efforts across the agency
Actively contribute to thought leadership both within the travel and media industries
Maintain strong vendor relationships
Experience & Education requirements
Minimum 10 years agency/media experience
Extensive working knowledge of integrated paid media channels
Proven experience managing high-impact campaigns, blending innovative and data-driven solutions across client budgets
Understanding of planning and buying platforms, including web analytics, ad servers and media research tools
Excellent leadership, management and motivational skills
