AMMO Inc. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and revising part drawings, establishing tool designs for new products, and enhancing existing components. As a Tool Detailer, you will play a key role in the development and troubleshooting of tooling, ensuring designs meet predefined standards. You will also be tasked with completing tool design calculations and updating drawings to reflect modifications made to tools throughout their lifecycle.
As a Mechanical Designer you will:
- Complete part drawings including the creation of detailed drawings.
- Establish tool design for new products and improvements to parts as a Tool Detailer.
- Participate in the development and troubleshooting of tooling.
- Complete tool design calculations within predefined design standards.
- Tool Detailer will make drawing revisions to reflect how tools have been modified.

Required qualifications for a Mechanical Designer:
- Associates degree in Mechanical design with emphasis in tool and die design or equivalent specialized schooling and individual course work.
- A solid understanding of Solid Works Design Software.
- Must have strong mechanical ability to be a successful Tool Detailer.
- Skilled in performing detailed work with a high degree of quality and accuracy.
- Must demonstrate safe work practices, work with limited supervision, and communicate with coworkers, manager and other departments.
- Maintain poise and respond in a professional and respectful manner to all situations
