What you'll be doing
As a member of Baxter's Infusion System's team, the candidate will advance the portfolio by developing and implementing market strategy for Baxter on market infusion platforms and supporting digital tools. This position will lead, direct and facilitate product lifecycle management decisions with a variety of cross functional leaders from R&D, quality, manufacturing, operations, and country level commercial partners. Critical Responsibilities
Management of key life cycle management initiatives, driving market analytics, portfolio optimization, customer issue management, product and process improvement opportunities. Analyze global market segments, assess competition, clinical trends, and business drivers for portfolio and pipeline improvement. Manage product lifecycle management decisions for the Spectrum infusion pump and digital resources with balanced decision making, considering all aspects of product health and risk including but not limited to patient needs, commercial, manufacturing, technical design and quality. As the commercial lead on the product core team, drive decisions regarding product performance, quality/reliability, compliance, and risk profile throughout the life of the assigned product family (e.g. CAPA. risk management. hazards, etc.) Use quality system, supply continuity, and listening systems data to create an integrated view of product health and roadmap. Drive awareness and action for issues that impact product health and advocate for changes that will improve portfolio health. Manage marketing actions related to prioritization of product sustaining activities such as supplier change notices, operational improvement projects, regulatory commitments, etc. Define/ own a set of key performance indicators that describe the health of a product line. Manage commercial activities for portfolio improvements working closely with product owner, R&D, quality, regulatory, medical, and regional and country marketing. What you'll bring
Bachelor's degree required. MBA or post graduate marketing qualification preferred. Healthcare Marketing experience required including a solid understanding of regulatory processes 5+ years demonstrated ability in medical devices, pharmaceuticals or healthcare industry. Proficient in quantitative and qualitative assessment; successful experience managing multiple projects at once Diverse range of skills across business, commercial, quality, and technical areas Excellent business sense including broad knowledge, perspective and judgment on business decision making Ability to facilitate and lead cross-functional teams. Strong presentation and oral communication skills. Knowledge of global external healthcare business environment. Baxter is committed to supporting the needs for flexibility in the workplace. The estimated base salary for this position is $104,000 - 143,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position is also eligible for discretionary bonuses.
