Base pay range
$80,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr
Our client, a well-respected full-service artist representation agency and production company, is looking for a New York-based Artists Agent with Director and Photographer management experience. If you are an Agent, Junior Agent, or seasoned Agent's Assistant/Producer with a solid understanding of the Fashion, Luxury, and Beauty space, this could be a great next step for you.
This business creates world-class visual content, and their portfolio features some of the most iconic imagery and content seen worldwide.
They are seeking an experienced, resourceful, and well-organized Artist Agent to join their New York team and help look after their US-based roster of Directors and DOPs. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic professional with an understanding of the fashion, beauty, and luxury advertising markets. A proven track record and existing client relationships are essential, along with knowledge of both stills and motion production.
Your responsibilities
- Artist Representation: Advocate for and represent our roster of Directors and DOPs.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships to generate new opportunities.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Organize and manage artists’ schedules.
- Budget and Contract Negotiation: Lead the creation and negotiation of budgets.
- Shoot Production: Oversee all aspects of shoot production.
The ideal candidate will be
- Well-connected in the fashion, beauty, and luxury advertising industries, with a network of established clients.
- 5+ years of experience in artist/creative agencies, production companies, or related fields.
- Highly organized, resourceful, and detail-oriented.
- An excellent communicator with the ability to build lasting relationships.
- A skilled negotiator with expertise in contract negotiations, artist contracts, usage, and fees.
- Passionate about film and photography, with a keen eye for artistic talent.
- Passionate about the fashion industry.
