Job Summary:

Green Ridge Solar is seeking a creative, outgoing, and highly organized Marketing Content Producer to join our dynamic marketing team. With the support of the Content Manager, this role will be responsible for producing engaging, informative content across various platforms to support our marketing initiatives and brand awareness. A key focus of this position will be coordinating and filming compelling customer interviews and testimonials that showcase the positive experiences of our clients and the benefits of solar energy. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of video production, excellent project management skills, and a passion for storytelling.

Responsibilities:

Video Production (Primary Focus):

• Lead the end-to-end process of creating high-quality video content. Content will have an emphasis on customer interviews and testimonials, but extend to other types of advertising and communication messages.
• Identify and coordinate with satisfied Green Ridge Solar customers willing to participate in video interviews.
• Develop interview questions, scripts, and storyboards in collaboration with the marketing team.
• Coordinate all logistics for video shoots, including scheduling, location scouting (if needed), and equipment preparation.
• Operate video cameras, audio recording equipment, and lighting to capture professional-quality footage.
• Conduct engaging and insightful on-camera interviews with customers.
• Manage and organize video assets effectively.
• Perform video editing tasks (trimming, assembling clips, adding basic graphics and text) or collaborate closely with external video editors for more complex projects.

Content Creation (Secondary):

• Assist in the creation of other marketing content, such as written blog posts, social media updates, website copy, digital ad creative, and email marketing materials, as needed.
• Adapt video content for various platforms and formats.
• Research industry trends and customer needs to inform content creation.

Project Collaboration:

• Maintain content production schedules and manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure deadlines are met.
• Collaborate effectively with other members of the marketing team, sales team, and customer service team.
• Communicate project updates and progress to stakeholders.

Performance Measurement:

• Track and analyze the performance of video content and other marketing materials.
• Identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations.

Brand Consistency:

• Ensure all content aligns with Green Ridge Solar's brand voice, style, and messaging guidelines.

Stay Updated:

• Keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in video marketing, content creation, and solar energy.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (2+ years) in a content creation role with a strong emphasis on video production. Strong portfolio of work examples is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Film Production, or a related field preferred.
• Drone video capture ability is a strong positive.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating and filming on-location interviews/ testimonials.
• Proficiency in operating video cameras/capture devices, audio equipment, basic lighting.
• Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro or similar).
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong storytelling and interviewing skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, with customers, and as part of a collaborative team.
• Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to travel within Oregon to capture content and conduct customer interviews off-site.
