Construction Manager
to join our team in our
Missoula, MT
. In this role you will lead and manage all aspects of utility construction for various types of telecom projects overseeing site planning, scheduling, budgeting and resource allocation.

The Role
Leads and manages all aspects of utility construction for various types of telecom projects
Responsible for overseeing site planning, scheduling, budgeting and resource allocation
Supervises and coordinates onsite construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, building codes and safety regulations
Conducts regular site inspections to monitor progress, identifies potential issues or risks and implements corrective actions as needed
Manages relationships with external contractors, vendors and suppliers, ensuring alignment with project requirements and company standards
Prepares and maintains accurate project documentation, including progress reports, construction drawings, permits and change orders
Communicates effectively with project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones and budgetary considerations
Implements and enforces best practices for construction quality control, safety protocol and environmental compliance
Works a flexible schedule with varied hours; some evenings and weekends as needed
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or relevant field of study; or equivalent work experience
10+ years of total relevant experience including significant experience in a supervisory/leadership role
OSHA 10 certification a plus
Knowledge and prior work experience in telecom construction industry - Coax Splicing, Fiber Splicing, Directional Drilling, map reading, etc.
Knowledge and experience with aerial and underground construction
Practical knowledge of Network operations and associated inventory for both RF and fiber networks
Experience in estimating, bidding projects and change order preparation
Problem-solving and like to troubleshoot problems as they arise in the field

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn custom software
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to work a flexible schedule with varied hours; some evenings and weekends as needed
Valid driver’s license
