Job Summary : The Video Editor will work closely with the Senior Media Production Specialist and AMP Marketing team to create and enhance existing videos related to training, product knowledge, and brand awareness to further the organization's goals for market expansion, customer satisfaction, and continuous growth.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop a thorough understanding of AMP sales culture and processes.
- Create, maintain, and enhance training and marketing videos with a high level of ownership from project conceptualization to the final delivered asset that is ready to distribute through various marketing channels via web and social media, including:
- Cutting and assembling footage
- Adding audio elements
- Motion graphics and visual effects
- Work collaboratively across teams on projects ideation and revisions
- Assist Senior Media Production Specialist with in-studio and offsite filming for training and marketing videos as needed
Core Competencies:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Creative mindset and ability to tell a story with imagery, music, and graphics
- Quickly acquires new software skills
- Must be able to multi-task, maintain quality standards, adapt and think on your feet as priorities arise and change, keep yourself organized, pay very close attention to detail, troubleshoot technical aspects of graphic and video editing software and strive for perfection in your work
- Understanding of best practices and trends for video content across various social media platforms
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Suite including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, InDesign, and After Effects
- Intermediate knowledge of Davinci Resolve
- Knowledge of audio editing and basic motion graphics
- Working knowledge of Windows computers and Microsoft Office Suite
Educational and Experience Requirements:
- Four-year college degree required
- 2 years of related work experience, or job-related academic work
