Fashion Assistant Internship

Location: Columbus, Ohio (On-site, part-time, weekends required)

Founded by designer Sheila Salemme and based in Columbus, Ohio, Delana Muse offers both collection styles and custom designs for brides who embrace romance, artistry, and intentionality.

Kuma Vida is our resortwear and lifestyle brand that celebrates ease, wellness, and feminine joy. With eco-friendly fabrics and storytelling woven into every piece, Kuma Vida is for women who value slow fashion, self-expression, and vibrant living.

Together, both brands operate under one creative studio and boutique, offering an inspiring space where fashion meets community.

We’re seeking a Fashion Assistant Intern to support the day-to-day creative and operational needs of our boutique. This hands-on, in-person role is ideal for a highly creative and motivated individual who is eager to learn the inner workings of a growing fashion brand.

You’ll work directly with the designer/founder and assist in areas such as:

• Social media content creation (Reels, styling BTS, visual storytelling)
• Customer service and client experience (especially during bridal appointments)
• Boutique upkeep and organization (steaming garments, setting up displays)
• Event support (shop & sip nights, sewing workshops, photoshoots)
• Inventory, admin, and light clerical tasks

This is a dynamic role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, highly creative environment and wants to grow their skills in fashion, entrepreneurship, and brand storytelling.

• Strong interest and experience in social media content creation (especially Instagram & TikTok)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Weekend availability (required)
• Prior customer service or retail experience
• Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Passion for fashion, bridal, and/or lifestyle branding
• Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative in a small team setting
• A creative mindset with an eye for aesthetics and visual storytelling

• This is a paid internship
• Interns will receive hands-on mentorship, creative responsibility, and insight into the operations of a growing fashion business
• Ideal start date: August 2025
