About The Unfound Door
The Unfound Door is a creative production company specializing in photography and videography for the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (A/E/C), Hospitality, Small Business, and other industries. We are a woman-owned business focused on capturing compelling visuals that tell powerful brand stories. Our studio in Downtown Denver serves as a hub for high-quality visual production, offering headshots, interviews, lifestyle photography, and corporate videography.
We are looking for a part-time Videographer & Production Assistant to join our small but mighty team. This role is ideal for someone with a basic foundation in videography and Adobe Premiere Pro, who is ready to grow, learn new skills, and jump into a variety of creative and organizational tasks.
What You’ll Do
Production & Videography (On-Site & Studio)
- Assist with filming corporate interviews, b-roll, and project showcases for clients.
- Operate UFD mirrorless cameras, gimbals, audio systems, and lighting setups for high-quality footage.
- Support video shoots both on-location and in our Denver studio, ensuring smooth setup and teardown.
- We will provide additional training in professional videography, camera operation, lighting, and audio techniques.
- Maintain and organize studio gear, including cameras, audio equipment, and lighting alongside the Operations team. Track equipment check-outs and assist in keeping the studio production-ready.
- Help coordinate shoot logistics, shot lists, and production schedules.
- Assist in preparing interview questions, call sheets, and run-of-show documents.
- Support post-production workflow by transferring footage, organizing files, culling, and prepping media for editors.
- Assist with video review, client feedback management, and final deliverable trafficking.
- Perform basic video edits (cutting, culling, adding captions, color correction) in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Assist in file backups and archive management.
- Work with our operations team to traffick assets, maintain timelines, and track progress across multiple projects.
- Support archiving and media management.
Who You Are
- A detail-oriented, organized, and proactive individual with a passion for storytelling and production.
- Comfortable working with basic videography concepts and Adobe Premiere Pro (we will teach advanced skills).
- Excited to learn and grow—we are hiring primarily based on personality, adaptability, and potential.
- Interested in working with professional camera equipment—we provide all the tools, including cameras, industry-standard lighting, and high-quality audio gear.
- A team player who can adapt to both studio-based and on-location shoots.
- Familiarity with After Effects, media management tools, or photography is a plus but not required.
- Compensation: Starting at $25,000/year
- Hybrid Work: Studio-based with some remote tasks and on-location shoots.
- Opportunity for Growth: We invest in our team and provide hands-on training in professional videography, production coordination, and editing.
If you’re excited about joining a creative, organized, and innovative team that bridges corporate and creative production, we’d love to hear from you!
