POSITION TITLEAdvanced Developer I - Full Stack Web Developer
POSITION OVERVIEWCome be part of an exciting, innovative Web Development team at Milliken! This position is part of the IT Department, reporting to the Web Development Team Lead. The Full Stack Web Developer will work closely with Digital Marketing and Division Stakeholders to create and maintain beautiful, functional Web applications. Responsibilities include refinement of design briefs and technical stories, informing and implementing web application components, and exhibiting both technical fluency and an eye for design while adhering to web standards, security protocols, and design paradigm best practices.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIESCreate and maintain attractive and usable web applications and APIsCollaborate with development team members, digital marketing, and divisional stakeholders to establish objectives and functional requirementsOptimize code for server and client performanceCompile and analyze data, processes, and code to troubleshoot problems and identify areas of improvementEngage in code reviews, pair programming, and feedback sessions with DevelopmentParticipate in regular Agile ceremonies including daily standups, story refinement, and sprint retrospectives as part of a dedicated delivery team
QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIREDBachelor's degree in Computer Science/Technology Discipline or 5 years equivalent work experience in a digital design and development roleStrong C#/.NET, MVC Framework, WebAPI, and Object-Oriented-Programming (OOP) skillsStrong HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript skillsThorough knowledge of web standards, security protocols, and authentication/authorization flows such as OpenID Connect and OAuth 2.0Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including Agile CeremoniesDevelopment experience with version control tools like Git and repository and release management platforms like Azure DevOps and OctopusProficiency debugging issues on a variety of hardware including, where applicable, remote debugging on cloud hosted servers
QUALIFICATIONS - PREFERREDFluency in CI/CD pipelines and asset management platforms such as Nuget and NPMFamiliarity with database design, both SQL and NoSQL, such as MS SQL Server and CosmosDBFluency in the Angular framework or familiarilty with frameworks such as React, Svelte, or Vue
