Overview
The User Experience Designer will be responsible for the following:- Facilitate presentations and discussions with users, developers, and product marketers to drive resolution on proposed features and functionality.- Partner with development team to drive successful implementation of the user experience design specifications. Resolve any implementation issues that affect the design.- Assist other User Experience Designers in the creation and maintenance of interaction and style guides. Provide training and leadership by example in user-centered design methods.- Train other internal company stakeholders on new workflows and functionality after appropriate scoping and development milestones are met.
The ideal User Experience Designer should possess the following:- 6-10 years' experience in product design, service design, engineering, UX, or related field.- Bring deep experience in at least one of the three facets of DX design and curiosity to grow in the others: User Research, Engineering and/or Service Design.- Technical knowledge around software engineering, platforms and deployment practices to aid in designing developer-facing experiences.- Experienced in user research methodologies and can educate others.- Able to lead design from research through implementation.- Experience designing different solutions for different use cases (consumer facing to internal).- Ability to work in and apply design processes in agile environments.- Experience and curiosity within agile and lean philosophies.- Active member of the design community.
