Electronic Resources Librarian. Twelve-month, non-tenure-track Instructor of Library Science, UofSC Aiken Library
Responsibilities: Provide leadership in the management of all aspects of the life cycle of the University of South Carolina Aiken’s electronic resources, including but not limited to licensing, access, maintenance, collection development, and assessment of all electronic materials; participate actively in the Information Literacy Instruction and Library Liaison programs; provide reference services; plan and update relevant Library Research Guides; participate actively in library and campus planning and governance through committee service. This position works in close collaboration with the Library Collections Coordinator and the technology team.

Minimum Qualifications: Masters of Library Science or Master of Library and Information Science from an ALA-accredited program; experience in the use of traditional and Web-based library resources; strong commitment in public service and teamwork; ability to work collaboratively; excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills; familiarity with information technology and its applications in an academic setting.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic resources management and knowledge of and experience with reference, library instruction, and collection development; knowledge of assessment trends, knowledge of best practices in academic libraries; evidence of a solid commitment to remain current in library and information science.
Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
