Grace Notes Apopka began as a thriving home studio serving approximately 50 students. When demand exceeded capacity, the need for a larger, community-focused music school became clear. With a growing waitlist and a shortage of high-quality private lesson options in the area, the vision for Grace Notes Apopka was born.

We are excited to be opening this summer in a brand-new 2,000 square foot facility in Victoria Plaza on SR 441 in Apopka, featuring six private teaching rooms—with future plans for additional studios and group classrooms.

Our mission is to build confidence, develop character, and foster a love of music in every student through individualized, high-quality music instruction provided by teachers who care.

Role Description

This is a contract role for Music Instrument Instructors located on-site in Apopka, FL. Instructors will be responsible for providing private and group music lessons, designing lesson plans, and helping students understand and apply music theory. Additional duties include preparing students for recitals and performances, tracking student progress, and providing feedback to students and parents. Scheduling of lessons and communication with parents/guardians may also be part of the role.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding and proficiency in Music Theory
• Skills in Music Performance and ability to demonstrate techniques
• Experience in Music Education, capable of teaching various age groups
• Proficiency in playing and teaching one or more instruments (seeking piano, voice, guitar, drums, and other instruments)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage schedules effectively
• Previous teaching experience is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Music or related field is considered an advantage, though equivalent experience and demonstrated teaching ability may be considered in its place.
