Overview
The successful candidate will teach Introduction to Painting and Introduction to Drawing, a first-semester Discovery Seminar (https://oxford.emory.edu/academics/discovery\_seminars.html)
(on bi-annual basis), as well as courses in their field(s) of expertise, and play a key role in extending and shaping Oxford College's existing studio art program. The teaching load will be three courses per semester (six courses a year). The position offers opportunities for course development, mentoring students in undergraduate research, and cross-disciplinary collaboration. We seek candidates to join our vibrant campus, who have a commitment to excellence in teaching as well as active engagement in creative scholarship with the potential to involve and inspire undergraduates.
