We are a specialized sales and marketing team focused on winning the largest, most strategic pursuits within the water business line. Our visual designers work collaboratively within a team setting to create compelling marketing materials to support the company’s image, brand and reputation and win work! It’s a high-energy atmosphere and we work with technical people to translate their concepts into persuasive sales collateral. We are looking for a team player who thrives in an environment where people work together to create industry-leading proposals and presentations. This person must be self-motivated and need minimal visual guidance/direction.Your Key ResponsibilitiesThe primary area of responsibility involves start-to-finish design and preparation of compelling proposals, interviews, brochures, and statements of qualifications, and presentations focused on page layout composition and visual aesthetics. The candidate should also have strong illustration skills enabling the development of representative infographics, figures, charts, illustrations, and diagrams. Our senior visual designers are involved in producing both short and long (multi-volume) proposals for off-site printing or digital submissions. The ability to communicate well with technical teams is a must-have for our senior visual designers.QualificationsYour Capabilities and CredentialsDesign Skills:Master level page layout – must include experience with long documents (50 pages)Master level illustration skillsAdobe Creative Cloud on PC Platform: Master level InDesign and Illustrator, with midlevel skills in Photoshop, and AcrobatExperience with Microsoft Office SuiteCreate complex PowerPoint presentations involving animation, video or other high-level visual designUnderstanding of both print and digital design parametersSoft Skills:Conceptual thinker capable of taking an idea and creating a persuasive visual/graphicCollaborative team playerGreat communicator who works in partnership with others to execute persuasive storytelling visualsEffective leadership, coaching, and mentoring for developing junior staffAbility to manage multiple pursuit-related assignments, while producing high-quality deliverablesBe recognized by internal and external associates as an expert in visual communication and designDetail oriented and organized, with exceptional prioritization skills and ability to effectively balance multiple prioritiesAbility to work effectively within a group, as well as independently motivated with minimal supervisionProblem-solver who leverages creative thinking to provide solutionsMust have availability to work occasional overtime to complete deadlines. Travel requirements are on a project-by-project basis up to 15%.
