About This Role:
Aurora Payments is seeking a dynamic Manager/Sr. Manager of Content Marketing & Strategy to lead the development and execution of a holistic content vision. In this role, you will define and execute a comprehensive content strategy that fuels demand generation, social media, public relations, and thought leadership. You are responsible for combining strategic vision with hands-on leadership to ensure impactful content and communications that align with business objectives and resonate with target audiences.
As Manger/Sr. Manager of Content Marketing & Strategy, you will play a role in content that touches the entire customer lifecycle.
Core Responsibilities:
· Develop a roadmap to produce compelling content in diverse formats (articles, white papers, videos, webinars, case studies) that resonates with key audiences across the payments ecosystem.
· Direct in-depth research on industry trends, compliance updates, and emerging payment technologies. Transform findings into authoritative thought leadership pieces that highlight Aurora Payments’ expertise.
· Oversee a content calendar that integrates with marketing campaigns, product launches, and key industry events. Provide editorial feedback ensuring clarity, quality, and consistency of voice.
· Use SEO best practices and data-driven insights to expand organic reach and engage targeted personas. Continuously analyze content performance and refine strategies to boost conversion rates, brand awareness, and customer retention.
· Partner with internal/external stakeholders—including Sales, and Product Management, and Customer Success—to ensure content is accurate, on-brand, and aligned with evolving regulatory and market needs.
· Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that enhances brand awareness, drives engagement, and supports Aurora Payments' overall content marketing objectives.
· Identify new opportunities for content distribution—whether it’s launching a webinar strategy, developing short-form video, or creating interactive tools—to stand out in a rapidly evolving payments landscape.
· Ensure brand consistency and compliance with the company’s style guide and voice across all content deliverables
· Manage and maintain content repositories, including content management systems (CMS), and ensure content is organized and easily accessible for future use
· Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging trends and evolving content formats to enhance content marketing initiatives continually
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or a related field.
· 7+ years in marketing, including at least 4 years specializing in content strategy and execution. Previous experience in financial services, fintech, or SaaS is highly desirable.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with a strong command of grammar and language suited U.S.-based audiences.
· Proven ability to generate high-quality content and guide a team of freelancers. Able to deliver constructive feedback that elevates both individual pieces and overall team performance.
· Skilled in using analytics platforms to measure content effectiveness (e.g., engagement, conversions), and adapting strategies for continual improvement.
· Ability to develop multi-channel content plans that map to both short-term marketing goals and long-term brand positioning.
· Capable of translating complex product features, compliance regulations, or technical details into accessible, reader-friendly content.
· Proven track record of managing editorial calendars, creative processes, and multiple stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
· Proficiency with SEO tools, marketing automation platforms, and CMS software. Familiarity with Google Analytics, HubSpot, WordPress, or similar is a plus.
· Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
· Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
