The Strategic Marketing Relationships Manager will be a member of the in-house marketing team, which is responsible for the creative development and execution of internal and external marketing communications and branding materials. The role is responsible for developing and coordinating new and existing relationships with a variety of partners and—where relevant—leveraging those relationships to create greater collective impact. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Continuously define, refine and manage the vision of strategic marketing partnerships to ensure we are staying aligned to company and marketing team goals for market growth. Identify individuals, organizations, and events where the investment in a partnership makes sense for short and long-term goals. Provide active outreach and communication through whatever communication tools are required to interact with relevant individuals and groups. Support, service, and maintain day-to-day relationships with influencers, key brand partners, ambassadors, media, and sponsored shooting events. Handle or escalate day-to-day needs of partner relationships as appropriate. Scan for strategic events that have the potential of expanding awareness of the Magpul brand and presenting information to the Director of Marketing to determine if we participate in those events. Identify shifts and trends in the firearms and outdoor industries, making recommendations and providing information to the team as current trends develop and as they wane. Maintain a high level of expertise in the firearms, shooting, and hunting spaces to ensure relevance to the company’s need as a pulse-taker on the industry and how to best stay attuned to it. Expand community relations along with the Events and Sponsorships Manager. Help in making decisions on the appropriate organizations and level of support to ensure Magpul has the right influence across multiple spaces. Oversee and manage the Magpul Affiliate Program. Grow its effectiveness through continuous improvement of functionality, reach, and tools. Work with the team to assist in creating marketing campaigns and content that are current and relevant and tied to the knowledge of the state of the industry. Track the relationships and all relevant data pertaining to their effectiveness, to include how Magpul, as a whole, performs in communicating its brand via social media and other outlets. Create reporting specific to data that arises from influencers, affiliates, social media, and other relevant data sources. Make recommendations on resource and partnership allocation to ensure the company’s relationships evolve to meet the company’s needs over time. Identify key media, influencers, and other key partners for product seeding, coordinating the release of their materials as part of the bigger marketing strategy. Domestic travel up to 20%. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in a Marketing, Communication, or Business. Strong resume and portfolio of experiences that demonstrate a detailed understanding of the outdoor, hunting, and firearms space and the keys to success in the industry. Ability to work in various environments to include, but not limited to, an office environment, a home office, and various outdoor settings and studios. Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent verbal and writen communications skills, to include the ability to interact with potential and existing partners in a way that grows the relationship between these partners and creates value. The ability to work collaboratively with others in the planning, ideation, and integration of partnerships at all levels. Ability to create detailed plans and communicate them to a variety of internal and external stakeholders. Additional: This position reports to the Director of Marketing.
