At the Missouri Veterans Home, we are hiring a Recreation/Music Therapist Assistant to assist the team with therapeutic and leisure activities for our state’s heroes. Hourly Pay:
- $16.83 - $18.23
- Pay based on experience
Examples of Work:
- Learn and demonstrate basic methods and application of recreational, music, and other therapeutic activities
- Make preparations/arrangements for and carry out activities, such as group outings
- Provide resources and support to Veterans to enhance skills appropriate to their physical and cognitive ability
- Document electronically activity attendance records, assessments, progress notes, and care plans
- Drive bus or other state vehicles during day/night both in town and on highway
- Lift and move Veterans as needed
Qualifications:
- 0 - 1 years of relevant experience
- Current Missouri Class E driver license or able to obtain within 60 days
