Robert Half's marketing & creative client is seeking an Associate Creative Director for a long-term contract. This remote, 40-hour-per-week opportunity requires candidates to work eastern (EST) hours. The client is seeking a highly skilled and client-facing Associate Creative Director with strong skills in experiential, tradeshow, or large-scale event design. Interested candidates must submit a portfolio showcasing relevant experiential design samples to be considered.
The Associate Creative Director will oversee creative development for exciting experiential projects with a focus on blending design vision with strategic marketing execution. This role will lead creative presentations, manage team outputs, and ensure deliverables meet high standards of aesthetic and functional impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary creative lead for client-facing engagements, including feedback loops with marketing and creative stakeholders
- Package and pitch creative outputs to ensure alignment with client brand standards and project objectives
- Establish a clear cadence for creative reviews, milestone tracking, and feedback sessions
- Facilitate day-to-day creative syncs to maintain momentum across the team
- Provide direction rooted in modern and innovative design aesthetic sensibilities
- Oversee the development of practical, production-ready creative assets for experiential environment
- Maintain consistency and design quality across all deliverables, adhering to established brand guidelines
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a creative leader, specializing in experiential, tradeshow, or large-scale event design or environmental branding
- Portfolio of relevant design samples
- Strong communication and presentation skills with a proven track record of interfacing with clients and stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional creative teams and manage complex timelines in fast-paced environments
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator
- Solid understanding of design aesthetics such as minimalism, Scandinavian, and mid-century modern with a contemporary twist
- Experience collaborating with diverse teams, including graphic designers, engineers, and 3D production specialists
- High attention to detail
Portfolio Requirement:
Candidates must share a portfolio showcasing their prior experience in tradeshows, large-scale installations, or experiential events. Work samples should highlight typography, large-scale design, and an understanding of environmental application.
