Our Client, multinational mass media and entertainment company, is looking for someone to join their team as a Media Technology Engineer!
**This is a remote 3-month contract role that takes place in Burbank, CA**
Required Skills &Experience
- 3+ years of developer experience
- 3+ years of digital asset management experience
- 3+ years of experience in API development and management
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage API-based integrations between media asset tools, production systems, and cloud services
- Integrate and optimize iPaaS and middleware solutions for data movement across production systems.
- Implement Python-based automation scripts to streamline asset ingestion, metadata tagging, and workflow processes.
- Ensure seamless data flow between source production media systems, DAM/MAM platforms, and downstream applications.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of cloud-based and on-premise environments, including AWS services (S3, Lambda, EC2, IAM, CloudWatch).
- Support deployment and monitoring of SaaS applications, testing tools, and media asset management services.
- Lead technical validation and testing of asset workflows, including API performance, metadata transformations, and automation efficiency.
- Evaluate, select, and implement appropriate test tracking, monitoring, and reporting tools.
