Southwest District Health (SWDH) is recruiting aGrants Officer (Grants Writer)to join the dedicated group of public health professionals in theDivision of District Operations. As aGrants Writerand public health employee, you will serve an active role in improving the health of your community. As part of a small, but mighty team, you will prioritize the development of grants that directly support the mission and strategic priorities of SWDH. This position is central to securing the necessary funding and resources to advance SWDH's initiatives. In addition to grant development, the position entails monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on grant activities in collaboration with program managers. The incumbent will also provide training and technical assistance to staff, ensuring effective implementation and compliance with grant requirements, and perform related tasks as needed.
