Position Summary
Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring; assigning duties; setting clear expectations; recognizing associates; communicating effectively; fostering a culture of belonging; and recruiting qualified staff to meet staffing needs and support company growth.
Coordinates and oversees job-related activities by building relationships with stakeholders; supporting plans to meet customer and business needs; setting goals; measuring progress; identifying improvement opportunities; and promoting continuous learning.
Leads and develops teams through teaching, training, and active listening; touring stores and providing feedback; collaborating across all levels; leading change efforts; setting expectations; and communicating business objectives clearly.
Models exceptional customer service by following the OBW service model; supporting customer service initiatives; resolving customer issues; developing action plans for deficiencies; and leading process improvements for a high-quality customer experience.
Ensures compliance with policies and supports company values by implementing action plans; supporting the Open Door Policy; and guiding staff in ethical business practices.
Drives financial performance by reviewing P&L statements; managing budgets; monitoring merchandise presentation and inventory flow; and developing strategies to mitigate shrink and meet sales goals.

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000, with potential additional compensation based on performance and location.
Minimum Qualifications
2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearm sales, successful completion of a firearms-specific CBC and training is required. Candidates must attend and complete all required training and assessments.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership or equivalent, with experience supervising five or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
