You have solid writing skills, can build media lists in your sleep and live for the challenge of securing media placements running the gamut from trade to consumer media. You understand that media is no longer in an earned silo and are eager to learn the ins and outs of paid media and how it can complement earned strategy. You will:
- Support the creation of media strategy and plans for large pharmaceutical companies
- Build media lists, write pitches and pitch media
- Assist in the development and implementation of sponsored content strategies across a wide range of pharmaceutical clients
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 3-4+ years' experience in media and/or healthcare communications
- Agency or in-house experience conducting media outreach and creating compelling pitches for placements in print, online and broadcast outlets
- Proficiency developing media lists and materials (i.e., pitch letters, media alerts, training decks, etc.)
- Strong organization and writing skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
