Location: Hybrid with office location in New York City or White Plains, NY
Rethink Capital Partners (“Rethink”), an asset management firm and Registered Investment Advisor specializing in socially conscious and impact investing across real estate and venture capital opportunities, seeks a Marketing Manager to be involved in all aspects of the firm’s marketing. Rethink has strong brand and team recognition in both venture and real estate and the firm seeks a professional who can maintain that presence while continuing to drive the firm’s reach with potential clients and partners.
The Marketing Manager will report to a Managing Partner and will work closely with the Associate Director of Investor Relations. This role has a unique position working across Rethink’s strategies and collaborating directly with leadership. The Marketing Manager will work on content strategy and execution for each team, dependent on their needs and will provide support to internal and external parties, as requested. Rethink seeks an individual who is a strong writer and editor with a creative, strategic mind, sharp design skills, and the ability to work autonomously.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, design, and maintain marketing materials across various strategies, including pitch decks, one-pagers, leasing presentations, social media content, financial reporting, impact/sustainability reports
- Draft, edit, and pitch press releases for both Venture and Real Estate divisions
- Manage and update website content using WordPress, and lead relationship with web developers
- Lead event planning and execution, including investor meetings, impact summits, and stakeholder gatherings
- Project manage public-facing content, including social media, press, blog posts, newsletters, email marketing, conference sponsorships, and more
- Support Associate Director of IR on requests for proposals (RFPs), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), and ad-hoc requests
- Assist with maintaining data integrity and performing updates to CRM systems
- Work closely with Chief Compliance Officer to maintain strict compliance with SEC regulations for all external facing items
Experience & Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations, and/or media work
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, takes ownership of work quality and tight deadlines
- Excellent writing, communication, and copy-editing skills
- Experience with content creation
- Solid organizational and project management skills
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently, while also contributing to a team
- Interpersonal skills, and comfort working with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work three days a week in our New York City or White Plains office
- Preferred skills:
- Experience with research and analysis
- Highly Mac literate with knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- WordPress
- Salesforce or other CRM systems
- Graphic design experience: Adobe, Canva, and/or other design platforms
- Event planning and execution experience; familiarity with event management tools is a plus
- Media pitching skills for press releases, email marketing, and conferences
- Previous knowledge of financial services (Venture Capital, Private Equity, or Real Estate)
