Position: Interior Designer
We are looking to add a talented and motivated Interior Designer to our Architecture team. In this role, you will oversee and coordinate all design aspects of assigned projects, ensuring client satisfaction and project success. This is an opportunity to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, develop creative design solutions, and grow within our dynamic organization.
Key Responsibilities: Interior Designer
- Manage assigned clients and projects, including maintaining direct communication and defining project scope.
- Perform fieldwork to gather relevant information, including sketching, measurements, and creating as-built drawings.
- Develop and design project drawings, details, and specifications using appropriate software.
- Coordinate project efforts with other disciplines and ensure timely project delivery within budgeted hours.
- Review and approve project invoices, maintain project schedules, and oversee project closeout.
- Conduct bidding and contract administration tasks, such as pre-bid meetings, bid openings, and pre-construction meetings.
- Monitor and process change orders, RFIs, pay requests, and project closeout documentation.
- Stay current with design literature, standards, and professional certification requirements.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design from a CIDA-accredited program.
- Proficiency in design software and the ability to create detailed and accurate project documentation.
- Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to professional growth, including working towards NCIDQ certification.
- Pre-employment drug test, background check, and valid driver's license required.
