Job Summary
As a Lead Content Marketing Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in crafting captivating online content across our internal and external web platforms. This position not only requires a strong grasp of editorial standards and brand guidelines but also the ability to train team members and provide web-related customer service support. Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop fresh, engaging content for diverse web properties, ensuring alignment with brand and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with the web marketing, SEO, and SEM teams to set and achieve content goals.
- Conduct thorough research on content and consumer trends to keep our messaging relevant and appealing.
- Create effective content strategies that resonate with target audiences and meet marketing objectives.
- Produce high-quality content for blogs, websites, communications, and training resources.
- Oversee proofreading and editing processes before content goes live.
- Create visually compelling thought leadership materials for conferences and webinars.
- Manage content calendars to ensure consistency across all platforms.
- Coordinate with marketing and writing teams to ensure timely content delivery.
- Analyze consumer and content performance metrics, creating insightful reports and presentations.
- Stay updated on evolving content trends, consumer preferences, and technological advances.
- Lead initiatives to optimize web properties through improved content marketing processes.
- Generate informative articles and web content to educate consumers while enhancing SEO performance.
- Design communication plans and strategies for new initiatives.
- Create landing pages and other web resources as needed.
- Oversee content for the Web Marketing Monthly Newsletter.
- Develop training materials to assist with Web Marketing product launches.
- Deliver live presentations at various workshops, meetings, and forums.
- Continuously support efforts to enhance the Franchise/customer experience.
- Assist the Franchise community via support emails and help desk tickets.
- Execute web projects assigned by the Web Operations Manager.
Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Expertise in online SEO copywriting, with a strong background in content development and editing.
- Minimum of 4 years in content marketing, proficiency in editorial requirements, narrative development, and business content creation.
- Minimum of 4 years experience with content management systems.
- At least 3 years in search engine optimization (SEO) and related tools.
- Strong understanding of marketing and advertising principles preferred.
- Collaboration experience with SEO specialists to create impactful content.
- Ability to produce original content swiftly and efficiently.
- Proficiency in utilizing content management systems for content maintenance and distribution.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Experience in user testing and A/B testing methodologies.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional demeanor.
- Creative and diplomatic problem solver with strong interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and able to manage complex situations independently.
- Prior experience in customer service focused on web marketing support.
- Proven capacity to collaborate with third-party vendors on standard procedures and workflows.
- Team-oriented attitude with the ability to take initiative when necessary.
- Technical aptitude and rapid learning of new software and processes.
- Experience in relevant industries or franchise operations preferred.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, or a related field required.
