Job Description Job Description Minimum 1 years visually impaired experience required. Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) Joliet , IL We are seeking a dedicated Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) to join our team in Illinois for the 2024-2025 school year. This is a full-time position providing specialized instruction and support to students with visual impairments. Job Details: Start Date: ASAP End of School Year Full-Time: Monday Friday, 32-37 hours per week Caseload: K-12 students Responsibilities: Provide direct instruction to students with visual impairments Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to support student success Adapt materials and curriculum to meet the needs of visually impaired students Provide training on assistive technology and Braille, as needed Requirements: Must hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a TVI endorsement Masters Degree in Visual Impairments or related field preferred Experience working with students with visual impairments is a plus Strong collaboration and communication skills Benefits: Competitive weekly pay ($40/hour, depending on experience) Health benefits (medical, dental, vision) Supportive team and work environment Contract for the full school year with renewal potential To Apply: If you are interested in this opportunity, please contact: Tyler Easley Director of Educational Resources Phone: 470-777-7137 Email: tyler.easleyprocaretherapy.com
