Description
The Governor's Prevention Partnership is a fast-growing nonprofit organization seeking a Graphic Design and Social Media Specialist to raise the organization's visibility through social media campaigns and engagement with compelling digital storytelling and visual content. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with the ability to take initiative, work well on concurrent projects, and meet deadlines while paying close attention to details.
JOB TITLE : Graphic Design and Social Media Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Plan, develop, and create social media content using photography, videography, and graphic design for monthly social media calendar for Facebook, Instagram, X, etc. ensuring content is relevant and reflective of the organization's brand and values. Create high-quality graphic design and layout for marketing and program materials, including but not limited to print collateral, advertising, social media, PowerPoint slides, email communications, toolkits, signage, and promotional products. Edit text and format materials such as agendas, handouts, brochures, letters, and other materials as needed. Manage design projects from start to finish, ensuring that all work is completed on time and meets the highest standards of quality. Collaborate with the communications and marketing team to develop creative concepts and ideas that support the overall brand strategy; work with the program team to bring their ideas to fruition while meeting brand standards Contributes to content development and provides writing and proofreading support. Manages, organizes and tags GPP's photo and print assets in online DAM, ensuring easy access and consistent usage across communications, and serve as a photographer when needed. Coordinate with outside vendors, including printers, mail houses, to ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within budget. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices to ensure that all social media and design work is innovative and effective. Collaborate with the team to develop and implement brand standards and ensure consistency across all materials. Develop and implement monthly social media calendar for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, etc. ensuring content is relevant, current, and reflective of the organization's brand and values. Monitor and report on KPIs and data related to marketing and communications efforts. Supports ongoing website updates including but not limited to: posting blogs, articles, press releases, and calendar events. Varies reporting and administrative duties related to Marketing & Communications. Requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS
Proven ability to develop creative content that drives interest and engagement. Graphic design capability and experience in layout, design, and photo and video editing technologies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite is required (experience in Canva a plus). Knowledge of Monday.com or other project manager software a plus, but not required A self-starter with the ability to juggle multiple tasks, identify priorities and anticipate next step needed. Can be productive both individually and in a cooperative team environment. Punctual and dependable, detail-oriented with superior organizational ability, ability to work efficiently with limited supervision. A Bachelor's degree in relevant field and at least one-year relevant experience
Salary Description
$45,000 - $65,000
