Job Summary The
Senior Designer
role requires a mix of creativity, leadership, and technical expertise to deliver visually compelling work that drives engagement and achieves business objectives. The Senior Designer collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior designers while managing projects from concept to execution.
Location Hybrid- Fairfax, VA. Must be willing to go onsite in the office.
Key Responsibilities Create visually stunning designs for digital, print, and multimedia platforms, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines. Lead the design process from concept development to final delivery, focusing on user experience (UX) and functionality. Oversee complex design projects, including branding, website design, packaging, marketing campaigns, and more. Ensure designs are optimized for various channels, including web, mobile, and social media. Collaborate with the Creative Director to define and implement the creative vision for projects and campaigns. Stay current with design trends, tools, and technologies to inspire innovative design solutions. Present design concepts and strategies to stakeholders, incorporating feedback while maintaining design integrity. Conduct quality checks to ensure consistency and accuracy in all deliverables. Basic Qualifications Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance, US Citizenship required. Must reside in the United States and work must be performed in the United States. B.S. in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field. 5+ years of professional design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects. Preferred Qualifications Federal government experience, experience with DHS preferred. Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and branding principles. Professional Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate complex data and insights in a clear and actionable manner. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Pay Range
- The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is: $73,722.00 - $125,327.00 Virginia Client Office (VA88).
