The Marketing/Communications Intern will report to the Director of Marketing and Communications and work collaboratively with the Head of School and Director of Advancement. This paid internship is a one-year, part-time position to begin immediately. Hours may be flexible to accommodate graduate schoolwork and evening school events.

Overall responsibilities:
The Marketing/Communications Intern will help tell the Creek Story, in order to advance the School's vision and brand through social media, news stories, the school website, advertisements, and publications
Specific Responsibilities:
Social MediaDevelop, curate, and review social media content and strategyMaintain school social media accounts, regularly posting to Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn with an eye to advancing the vision of the school and maintaining balance among divisions and departments.Monitor social media channels daily to respond to comments, messages, and posts
MediaDevelop, post, and oversee ICS news stories to post to social media, the school website, and send as press releasesAssist with the creation of school newsletters to tell the Creek Story to all ICS constituentsAssist in maintaining sustainable video and photography contentProofread school messages with a keen eye to detail
Graphic DesignDesign materials including invitations, flyers, logos, newsletters to ensure brand consistencyAssist with the concept and creation of digital and print advertisements
WebsiteDevelop concept and create content for websiteHelp ensure that website content and photos are updated regularly and accurately reflect and positively portray the school's program
Qualifications:At least 2 years' experience and a proven strength in marketing and communication strategy and implementationBachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or Graphic DesignOutstanding communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, namely the ability to communicate effectively in person and in writing across departments and constituenciesGraphic design experienceKeen attention to detailExperience with HTML and email platformsKnowledge of navigating Google Analytics and other web performance toolsAbility to multi-task and manage numerous simultaneous projectsExperience using various communication and marketing platforms and technologies, including Adobe suite, Canva, Constant Contact
