Kitchen and Interior Designer
to join our team. About the Role As a Designer, you will blend technical expertise with creativity to create living spaces that are as functional as they are beautiful. You will be the face of Ateliers Jacob, delivering exceptional customer service, managing projects with care, and driving sales while representing the company's values. Responsibilities Client-Centered Collaboration: Conduct client meetings to assess needs and guide material/product choices. Provide clear and professional communication throughout the project journey. Resolve issues with creativity and resourcefulness, offering alternative solutions when needed. Develop and refine design concepts using tools such as SketchUp. Incorporate client feedback to ensure alignment with their vision. Project Management: Prepare accurate quotes and material lists using company tools. Adjust designs and budgets based on-site measurements. Apply AJ's sales philosophy to build trust and effectively present solutions. Maintain relationships through follow-ups and ongoing client engagement. Qualifications College or technical diploma in Interior Design (preferred). At least 3 years of experience as a Kitchen Designer or Design Assistant. Proficiency in SketchUp or similar design software. Basic knowledge of Google Workspace (e.g., Google Sheets). Key Skills & Behaviors Expertise in millwork design. Strong listening and communication skills. Creativity and attention to detail. Resourcefulness and problem-solving ability. Exceptional customer service and negotiation skills.
