Job Overview:

Graham Technologies is seeking a highly skilled IT Technical Writer (Cybersecurity) to support the development of technical presentation materials and documentation related to cybersecurity initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with senior IT personnel and translating complex cybersecurity concepts into clear, concise, and visually compelling materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Communications & Documentation

• Develop, edit, and format technical presentations and documentation related to cybersecurity initiatives.
• Translate complex cybersecurity and IT concepts into clear, audience-friendly content.
• Ensure all written materials follow best practices in grammar, punctuation, and technical communication standards.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with senior IT personnel, cybersecurity teams, and support staff to gather and refine content.
• Collaborate across teams to align messaging with organizational objectives and compliance requirements.
• Ensure consistency in technical documentation and presentations to support cybersecurity awareness and compliance efforts.

Microsoft Office & Visual Content Development

• Utilize Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and Forms to create high-quality presentations, reports, and documents.
• Design visual materials, flowcharts, and diagrams to effectively convey cybersecurity strategies and concepts.
• Maintain and organize documentation repositories for easy accessibility and reference.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience developing IT presentation materials, particularly for cybersecurity topics.
• 10+ years of experience working collaboratively with senior IT personnel and support teams.
• 10+ years of proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and Forms).
• Strong command of grammar, punctuation, and technical writing standards, with an emphasis on clear and direct prose.
• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Must be a US citizen and be able to pass a background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional education or certifications in IT or cybersecurity (e.g., Network+, Security+, CISSP).
• Experience supporting government or enterprise IT environments.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, compliance standards, and best practices.
• Experience developing training materials, executive summaries, or policy documents in an IT setting.
