Overview
A large material handling company is looking for a part-time Technical Writer. This person will be responsible for creating and maintaining a variety of technical user documents using microsoft and adobe suites and following desktop publishing practices and graphics standards. They will need to be a strong communicator, as this person will engage with management and technical personnel in the development of documentation. Their work will be submitted for review and they will need to resolve conflicting issues across departments. his person will also provide support for the creation of marketing materials, when needed. A close eye for detail and accuracy is a must. This is a part time role with the expectation for about 20-30 hours of work per week. It will be remote, but occasional travel to Grand Rapids, MI may be required.

Highly proficient in Microsoft Suite as well as Adobe Suite
Proficient in graphic usage, page layout and content assessment
strong eye for detail
