Job Details AWS NETWORK DESIGN ARCHITECT (Hybrid, Greenwood Village) We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Design Architect to join one of our top-tier clients in the telecommunications industry. This is an integral and highly visible role within an enterprise-level organization, where the selected candidate will be pivotal in shaping the company's network infrastructure for a multiyear need. The ideal candidate must bring proven expertise in designing complex network solutions using AWS, alongside a deep understanding of network topology. Hands-on experience with both traditional and cloud-based network architecture is essential. As a key member of the team, you will play a significant role in crafting scalable, secure, and high-performance network designs. The position requires a strategic thinker with the ability to translate business requirements into robust, efficient network solutions. You will also be working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation and optimization of the network architecture. This position is based in Greenwood Village, Colorado, and will require on-site presence four days a week. AWS NETWORK DESIGN ARCHITECT SKILLS: 7+ years of overall Network Engineering experience, with a minimum of two years Network Architect or Technical Lead experience Network design experience; a background with enterprise-wide network designs AWS networking background Deep understanding of Data center networking Experience designing a network from scratch and preparing for future network migrations Experience designing network topology AWS NETWORK DESIGN ARCHITECT NICE TO HAVE: Experience working in the telecommunications industry AWS NETWORK DESIGN ARCHITECT DAY TO DAY: Join the client's Public Cloud team, contributing to strategic network design and architecture. Spend 65% of the role focused on high-level network design, including: Assessing current tools, platforms, and network design. Analyzing existing infrastructure to identify areas for improvement. Providing recommendations for future network architecture and design strategies. Create innovative solutions to optimize network design and performance. The remaining 35% of the role will involve: Testing and validating network solutions. Developing proof of concepts to demonstrate design efficacy.
