Technical Writer III (Hybrid, Greenwood Village, CO)
The Select Group is seeking a skilled Technical Writer III to support a top telecommunication partner in creating, editing, and managing complex technical documentation. This position focuses on technical content creation from scratch. The ideal candidate will have strong content creation abilities, exceptional attention to detail, and experience working with telecom-related projects. This role requires collaboration with subject matter experts, product managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality documentation that meets industry standards. This is a Hybrid role based in Greenwood Village, CO, requiring on-site presence 4 days a week.
Technical Writer III Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Research, prepare, and edit technical documents to ensure clarity and accuracy.
Ensure documents meet editorial and customer specifications, maintaining quality standards for graphics, format, and style.
Collaborate with writers, illustrators, word processors, and subject matter experts to coordinate and finalize drafts.
Publish formatted documentation across various media platforms.
Stay updated with relevant technical subject matter to ensure documentation reflects current industry trends.
Participate as a key member of the project team, contributing to documentation strategies.
Track project documentation through its full lifecycle, from creation and approval to publication and updates.
Work closely with stakeholders to gather existing documentation and create standardized technical specifications. Technical Writer III Must-Have Skills:
6+ years of Technical Writing experience.
Strong content creation skills, capable of producing documentation from scratch (not just editing/copywriting)
Proficiency in Confluence and SharePoint.
Experience with Word documentation formatting and structuring.
Telecom industry experience to facilitate quick adaptation to industry-specific terminology and project requirements.
Strong initiative, proactive approach, and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
