Mines the internet for brand and product-related news.Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities Under the supervision of the Communications Manager, this position will oversee the general direction of organizational social media messaging through creating and managing social media content, monitoring interactions on social media accounts, designing digital media, documents, and publications, shooting, and editing photography and videography.Manage and grow social media profiles and presence, primarily Facebook and Instagram.Plan and schedule social media posts using tools to maintain a consistent presence and engage with our audience regularly.Engage with followers, assists with responding to queries in a timely manner, and monitor customer reviews.Oversee and lead the agency's social media team with developing relevant content, creating, editing, and maintaining editorial calendar. Monitor social media trends and analytics to adapt strategies in real-time, ensuring optimal engagement and brand awareness.Create, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of social media campaigns.Analyze data to optimize content and placement as well as identify areas of opportunity.Compile Monthly Reports for Senior Leadership Team illustrating effort and impact results. Required Education and Experience:Completed at least two (2) years of study at an accredited college or university with coursework in marketing, communication, business, or a closely related field of study.A minimum of two (2) years' experience in use of multiple social media platforms.A valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record allowing insurability by the MetroParks' vehicle insurance carrier. Employees may not have more than 4 total points (or equivalent penalty) on their driving record.Knowledge of general marketing and communications strategies.No history of felony convictions. Work Environment, Schedule and Physical Demands Work Environment & Schedule:This is a part-time position that requires availability on a flexible schedule that may involve evenings, weekends, and holidays. Employee generally works in an office environment but should have the ability to work in all outside weather conditions; wet and/or humid conditions, extreme cold (below 32 F degrees) and extreme heat (above 90 F degrees) for some assignments. Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to move about consistently across various terrain or sit consistently during a shift. Employees may be required to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. This position frequently communicates with guests and must be able to exchange accurate information. Employees may occasionally move up to 25 pounds.
