As the
Culture & Communications Coordinator
you'll play a key role in designing and implementing an innovative engagement strategy for the corporate office, creating a vibrant culture where individuals feel welcomed, valued, and proud to grow their career at UDR. You'll also play a key role in helping execute our company-wide internal communications and culture strategy.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter, critical thinker, and problem solver. They are an excellent writer, highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about building employee pride and retention. They bring experience executing office-wide events and ongoing engagement programming, excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and are collaborative, adaptable, and tenacious.
This position sits within our Talent Strategy team reporting to the Manager of Culture & Communications. You will work closely with HR colleagues and cross-functional peers to lead the design, development, and execution of UDR's employee engagement strategy, office-based communications, and other talent development programs.
This role is based at UDR headquarters in Highlands Ranch, CO, with flexibility for a hybrid schedule.
The Responsibilities :
Design and deliver UDR's employee engagement strategy for the UDR headquarters, including overseeing all on-site events, the annual company picnic, holiday lunch, volunteer activities, and other events as needed. Manage a company-wide engagement committee to share best practices, ideas, and delegate planning support. Develop and deploy communications within the UDR headquarters by contributing to the company newsletter and utilizing Viva Engage. Support the Manager of Culture & Communications in developing and sending company-wide communications. Measure and assess the impact of internal communications efforts by creating metrics dashboards and analyzing trends. Stay current on best practices and trends for communications and engagement. Coordinate meetings, catering, and other miscellaneous support tasks for the HR team. Collaborate with the Talent Strategy team and support prioritized projects and development initiatives regardless of their focus area. Other administrative and HR coordination duties as required. The Other Qualifications:
You have a bachelor's degree in communications, human resources, or related field OR equivalent experience (2+ years). You have at least 2 years of progressive experience in writing corporate communications, managing corporate events and activities, and building effective engagement programs that deliver the desired outcomes and impact. Strong written and verbal communication skills. You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the company priorities. You exercise discernment and discipline in managing asks and priorities. You take accountability for results - acting with
integrity and ownership You build relationships and collaborate to get to the desired outcome. Benefits Offered:

Hourly Range: •$26.44/hr. - $31.25/hr., depends on experience
Bonus Potential: •Eligible for 10% annual bonus potential, based on personal and company performance
