Position Summary The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and monitoring Electrolit's social media strategy to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts, and drive engagement. You'll play a critical role in shaping how Electrolit communicates with audiences across various platforms while staying ahead of social media trends.

Houston, TX (Hybrid)
Principal Duties Develop, manage, schedule and optimize social media calendars for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, and emerging channels Craft engaging content (posts, stories, videos, etc.) that aligns with brand voice and objectives Monitor audience engagement, respond to comments/messages, and foster community growth Analyze and track social media performance metrics (e.g., engagement, reach, impressions) and provide actionable insights Organize content in our Digital Asset Management platform Collaborate with internal teams and external teams (design, marketing, PR, freelancers) to integrate social media efforts into broader campaigns Identify and collaborate with influencers or brand ambassadors for partnership opportunities Implement and manage paid and boosted campaigns across social channels, including audience targeting and A/B testing Travel as required to support on-site content creation, attend events, collaborate with teams, or represent the brand at industry-related activities Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities In-depth understanding of major social media platforms, including Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, and emerging channels Knowledge of social media trends, best practices, and algorithms Understanding of content marketing principles, brand positioning, and audience segmentation Basic knowledge of paid social media advertising, including campaign creation, optimization, and reporting Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft compelling copy and captions Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail, the ability to take initiative, work independently on multiple projects, and consistently meet deadlines Ability to think creatively and generate innovative content ideas Experience creating content and graphics for social media using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite Proven record with social media monitoring, and management tools for publishing, reporting, and social listening Qualifications Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) 3+ years of professional experience in social media management or digital marketing Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media campaigns Experience in the beverage, CPG or agency experience is a plus Proficient in Adobe Design Suite
Other Requirements Able and willing to travel (Travel up to 30%) Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times Must be legally authorized to work in the USA Fluent in English, Spanish is a plus
