Overview
The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business seeks an Assistant Director of Marketing to join the Collegiate Marketing & Communications Team.
If you're a results-driven marketer who is passionate about executing integrated solutions to support marketing and enrollment goals, we want to talk to you. We're a team of tech-progressive, passionate brand advocates who use data to drive our decisions. Your mission is to manage and maintain multiple campaigns and projects that support the successful implementation of our marketing strategies across a portfolio of programs.
We're looking for a self-proclaimed data nerd who finds ways to work smarter (not harder) in the weeds of mar-tech tools like Pardot, Salesforce, Qualtrics, Google Ads, Google Analytics, and AI-powered chatbots. Someone who will build and champion high-performing marketing campaigns with experience in email, social media, advertising, web, and traditional media.
Sound like you?
You love to strategize marketing tactics, monitor and optimize campaigns, allocate resources and track performance across the marketing project lifecycle-from conceptualization to analysis. You're organized and detail-oriented enough to coordinate multiple aspects of assigned projects, like target audience and messaging, media planning, campaign setup, and performance tracking. You're excited to leverage your expertise in market research, consumer insights, and data analysis to optimize campaigns and ensure maximum return on investment (ROI). Under direction from the Associate Director of Marketing, you'll work collaboratively with individual academic units at Tippie, and join the college's in-house marketing and communications department, which offers a collaborative, fast-paced, and creative work environment.
You'll also develop subject matter expertise on the marketing needs of our internal clients working closely with a talented cross-functional team including content, design, web, communications, public relations, as well as external resources like agencies and vendors.
Please note: This position is eligible for remote work within Iowa.
This position is eligible for fully remote work within Iowa and will require a work arrangement form to be completed upon the start of your employment.
