M3 Group is a fully integrated, digitally focused, strategically driven branding and marketing agency located in Lansing, MI. M3 Group is a subsidiary of the Reseda Group, a wholly owned credit union service organization (CUSO) of Michigan State University Federal Credit Union. We help our clients understand their target markets, prioritize efforts, and develop engaging, visually compelling content that connects.
Position Summary: The Creative Visionary at M3 Group is responsible for bringing ideas to life visually for our internal and external clients. Working within a small, dedicated pod or as part of our resource team, you will create and implement designs for a variety of media - including websites, social media graphics, advertising campaigns, branding/logos, publications, brochures, direct mail, eBooks, and other types of marketing projects.
You may be assigned to a client-facing Pod that also includes a Client Strategist (account manager), a Content and PR Developer (writer), and a Strategist who work together on a set of assigned accounts, or you may be part of a resource Pod that helps with overflow, internal or special project work. The position will also have access to colleagues in the design function for consultation, idea exchange, and critique. The Creative Visionary will report to the Design Director, who will provide feedback and direction as needed.
Work Arrangement:
This position is able to work in a hybrid arrangement. Expectation to work onsite on Tuesdays and one other day each week at the Lansing or Troy office.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm ET
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range: $49,665 - $69,532

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- You will own visual development for your assigned clients - you'll research, concept, design, and produce visual communications.
- Brainstorm with your team to develop campaign and project concepts.
- Research, concept, design, and produce visual communications projects.
- Create and implement new and refreshed visual brands, including Style Guide development and implementation across a wide range of materials.
- Research industry-related visual trends and best practices.
- Provide design for website projects, produced in collaboration with a developer.
- Support your design colleagues with ideas, critiques and feedback.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance to support team and organizational efforts, as well as complete assigned work by the deadlines.
- Execute duties with a greater level of decision-making and judgement calls that align with M3 Wow Work standards.
- Perform other duties and assist other employees, as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- A.A., BA or BFA in graphic design or related field.
- 3 - 5 years' work experience in a relevant role.
- Portfolio of professional design with demonstrated visual skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Detail oriented and organized.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
May be required to remain in a stationary position for an extended period of time. Ability to operate standard office technology, equipment and tools, which may include many hours of computer and phone usage. Occasionally needs to move about inside of office area. This position is able to work in hybrid or onsite working arrangements.
